Hi! My name is Luz and I am the little Catholic artist behind Salt & Luz which is based in Sydney, Australia.

Ever since I was young, I liked doing the "old granny hobbies" and being an entrepreneur. Today, I am continuing to pursue those hobbies to create beautiful things in hopes to contribute goodness to other people's lives and ultimately glorify God.

Salt & Luz first started as a simple pun when I learned that "Luz", my nickname, meant light in Spanish -- hence Salt & Luz, referencing Jesus' Word in the Gospel according to Matthew. As time had passed, God continued to water and nurture this little seed in my heart.

Our Why, then, is to respond to Jesus’ call for us to be a salt and light to the world and ultimately glorify Him. What great joy it is to be salt and light for others, bringing Jesus into their lives!
